Remembering Missy the Cat...

Missy the cat was abandoned near Movie Star Hotel in Palm Springs. She adopted us as her owners. She would sleep outside at night and would wait outside the kitchen door of the hotel every morning so we would feed her. When we found her she was very skinny and her coat was dry and had bare spots.

Thanks to Beverly at the Palm Springs Smoketree Post Office for adopting Missy and giving her a good home. It turns out Missy was really a "he" not a "she" after her first visit to the vet after being adopted by Beverly.

Missy would also poop in the the courtyard or the yard of the Hotel during the night....so Missy this song is for you.....

Run!...It's a Giant Lizzard

This photo was taken from the kitchen window of Movie Star Hotel in Palm Springs, California. It is some kind of very big grey lizzard coming out from behind the shed...probably almost 2 feet long from head to tail. Luckily, I made it inside before it got me...

Kathy Brier from TV's "One Life to Live" and Broadway's "Hairspray" was a huge hit at her one woman show to promote her new CD "Heartbreaker". Kathy is a great singer with a powerful voice. Check out Kathy Brier's website at www.Kathybrier.com.

With Kathy Brier after her sold out show at Triad, E. 72nd St. Manhattan.

Kathy's Co-Stars From "One Live to Live" were in the audience to support her including Ilene Kristen (Roxy), Dan Gauthier (Kevin), Renee Goldsberry (Evangaline), Nathaniel Marston (Michael), and Trevor St. John (Todd). Ilene Kristen was a hoot to talk to while waiting to get into the show.

The Farrell Cats of Palm Springs

All of these photos were taken in our backyard in Palm Springs, California. The over population of Farrell Cats (Wild Cats) is a very sad and huge problem in Palm Springs.
