Goodbye "Baby Dog" Jack... Jack's Final Days Living with Cancer

"Baby Dog" Jack was featured all over the "Between the Moon and New York City Blog" since it started.  After 14 years of being my friend and companion, Jack will be missed a lot!

Jack developed lymphoma which resulted in fast growing tumors in his neck.  He could not breathe or swallow well in his last few days.

Looking small...

Jack's very last photo.  Goodbye "Baby Dog" XOXO!

I know you feel bad...sorry for that loss.
Yesterday my partner's sister took in a stray cat. Bless her heart, she has as much compassion as Mother Theresa; she has to, she is a nurse. But she extends that to animals as well and that is admirable. I don't like to have pets because of the responsibility involved and because as you are now experiencing, they die. That and because I am allergic to cats.
We kept the poor skinny thing in the garage to protect it from other cats and when we opened the door this morning to throw out the trash it ran away. At least we fed him and sheltered it for him to get better. Go figure.
